Track & Field Fundamentals Camp
Our 3-day Track & Field Fundamentals Camp is designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting events and movements of track & field in a fun, positive, and age-appropriate environment. Athletes will be grouped by age and coached through engaging activities that build athleticism, confidence, and a love for movement.
Monday – Throwing Day
Athletes will learn the fundamentals of safe and effective throwing through fun drills and games. Campers will explore events such as shot put, turbo javelin, and medicine ball throws while learning balance, coordination, and proper movement patterns.
Tuesday – Jumping Day
Jumping day focuses on power, coordination, and body control. Athletes will participate in activities designed to improve jumping technique through long jump-style drills, hopping, bounding, and fun movement challenges.
Wednesday – Running Day
Our final day emphasizes speed, running mechanics, and movement efficiency. Campers will learn sprint fundamentals, relay basics, and participate in age-appropriate races and games designed to build confidence and athletic skill.
Throughout the camp, our goal is to create a positive environment where athletes can learn, move, and have fun while being introduced to the foundations of track & field.
